Double-Flange Rubber-Lined Butterfly Valve serves as an "on-off" or "regulating" valve for fluid control in industrial piping systems. Its key feature is the integral vulcanized rubber lining on the inner wall of the valve body, which significantly enhances durability and sealing performance.The securely bonded rubber lining prevents shifting or bulging, ensuring high reliability and durability. The term "flange" refers to the connection method at both ends of the valve; equipped with flanges, it connects to corresponding flanges on the pipeline via bolts—a highly secure arrangement that is particularly well-suited for high-pressure, large-diameter piping.It is suitable for applications involving water, wastewater, gases, and mild chemical systems.

Unitary Vulcanized Structure: 100% Bi-directional Zero-Leakage Sealing
The rubber seat of this vulcanized flange butterfly valve is integrally bonded to the valve body via a high-temperature, high-pressure vulcanization process, ensuring no leakage at the interface. The vulcanized seat provides 100% bi-directional sealing, suitable for applications ranging from full vacuum to PN25 pressure ratings. This advanced vulcanization process ensures exceptional durability and vacuum handling capabilities. The internal wall of the valve body features a unitary vulcanized rubber structure, completely isolating the medium from the metal body. The rubber lining is securely bonded—preventing shifting or bulging—to ensure high reliability.

Fully Encapsulated Internal Cavity: Complete Corrosion Isolation
The valve's vulcanized lining covers not only the internal cavity but also extends outward to encapsulate the sealing faces of the flanges on both sides. Once the medium enters the valve chamber, it contacts only the corrosion-resistant rubber (e.g., EPDM, NBR, or VITON) and the valve disc; the metal body wall is fully isolated and protected, thereby extending service life. This "fully lined" design prevents crevice corrosion at flange connections and allows for the use of more economical ductile iron bodies in highly corrosive environments—such as seawater, desulfurization/denitrification systems, and brine—significantly reducing initial costs for the user.

Suitable for Dead-End Service and Safe Maintenance
Unlike wafer-style butterfly valves, this double-flange design inherently supports "dead-end service" (end-of-line discharge). When maintenance or shutdown of downstream piping or equipment is required, the valve body can independently withstand pressure and securely contain the medium, even if the downstream mating flange is removed. Combined with the seamless fit of the unitary vulcanized seat, this ensures zero leakage under unidirectional pressure, providing a critical safety barrier for industrial site personnel.
